January 3, 2024 - The flawed bottle on 12/20/2023 was a "one off". The next bottle I opened was fine. A bit darker color for a 2018, but it's held together and was fine drinking over 3 days. Delicious, bit a touch simple. It's certainly worth the $23 that I paid for it. I would buy again!

December 20, 2023 - Bright yellow/golden appearance. I'm not surprised by that - it's 5 years old. The nose... what's going wrong with this. I let it breathe. Now it's even worse. The palate - it's odd with no real energy. The nose is now chemical. It hasn't improved over several days. I can't drink this. It's going down the drain. :-(
I'm really surprised by this wine. I have been impressed by every wine I've had from Ram's Gate. Maybe this is just a bad bottle. I have 3 more and will report back. NOT RATED
