February 8, 2018 - Throughly enjoyable. Still holding up and picking up nuances. With a bit of air it improved but drink up quickly after opening. I am not a Jadot fan but I was impressed.

October 29, 2008 - Gave to LL to taste and review - This was consumed while cooking a pork roast and oven roasted carrots. It was supposed to go with the meal, but was so good on it's own, we nearly finsihed the bottle before the food was out of the oven. The last glass went with the dinner and it was terrific. The color is waning, but lovely hints of cherry and spice, and light oak combined on the nose and the palate, with good acidity and a decent finish. I liked this bottle and was impressed that it was still so palatable after 9 years. Don't wait to drink the rest, consume asap!

September 4, 2008 - I find a lot of the Jadot wines from '99 to be just outstanding interpretations. Clean, pure pinot fruit with verve and flat out drinkability. This was another one drinking at its peak. I don't think there's a lot more complexity ahead of this one, but even if there is, why wait?
