March 31, 2023 - Good fruit, strong menthol, rich warm and tasty. Old but still good

January 2, 2016 - Still holding it together. Stored perfectly since purchased. Obvious Mouvèdre fruit still there. Way past its prime. Almost no sediment. Drink up.

September 23, 2012 - Very good indeed. Fully ready. Tannins quite dry but plenty of black fruit to balance.

February 4, 2012 - I think this wine ticks all the boxes. It is unusual, delicious and at its peak. Far from great but a really pleasant interesting glass

February 2, 2012 - I really like this wine. It has that slightly cooked element from the heat in Bandol but the Mourvedre copes with is so well. Lovely balance. Drinkable after popping the cork. Delicious

(Domaine Tempier Bandol Cuvée Spéciale) Bricking medium dark red violet color; nice dried berry, cumin, cinnamon, Moroccan spices, tobacco, beefy, lamb jus, fig nose; tasty, dried berry, lamb jus, cumin, brown spices palate with firm tannins still; medium-plus finish (stunningly better than a bretty bottle I had last year)
