October 3, 2023 - Same as my note from 2/8/23. Right on point. Loads of pepper and smoked meat. Punches above its weight class. A deal for $28. No reason to hold. Drink.

March 22, 2022 - Bramble & black pepper on the nose.
Robust palate more black pepper, tart blackberry roasted meats.
This is really good but feels a little bit thin. -

December 23, 2021 - Might be our favorite vintage of this entry-level Syrah from Ojai. Lush, with substance and a meld of black fruits and meaty and herbal elements. Decanted for two hours, this was ready to roll the minute it hit the glass. Drink now to 2025. Worth Seeking Out.
