Community Tasting Notes 1

October 29, 2009 - Very individual wine. Medium garnet not completely clear without being hazy. Quite aromatic with a very rare nose of orange zest together with some barnyard aromas, like dry wheat. Full flavour that contrasts with the medium body of the wine. Very refreshing and lean with an aftertaste of sour cherries. High acidity and some tannins. To pair with intensely flavoured greek mezedes, even dishes with lemon like stuffed vineleaves with an egg and lemon sauce. Interesting wine with character.
