March 17, 2024 - Women Who Wine & Their Arm Candy (Estelle, St. Paul, MN): Very dark red/purple color. PNP, followed a glass over an hour. Obviously very young, this is filled with dark fruits, blackberry liqueur, charcoal, tar, gravelly minerality, concentrated, powerful and very long with firm tannins. There's a lot going on here, but it gonna be better in another 3-5 years. Gut feeling is 93pts.

August 11, 2023 - So smooth, well balanced. Ripe red and black cherries, some spices, cedar. Le Tapis Rouge, Giessbach

May 6, 2023 - I don’t know if 99 is appropriate (WA) but this was fantastic. Dense and rich but really focused and has nice fruit, acidity and balance. I was very surprised that it was so approachable at such an early age. Thought I will need to decant this for a while but it was ready to go in ~15 minutes. Excellent! Good for food or for pondering the meaning of life…

February 2, 2023 - Dark red nearly purple. A floral nose at first of violets giving way to spices with more time in the glass. After 15 minutes the aromas conjured scorched earth and herbs. Classic Priorat notes throughout. Concentrated red fruits with spices like fennel and thyme dialed up. Full bodied but still sharp, with acidity standing it upright or maybe that’s just a mild licorella twang. Ultra smooth drinking indicative of the blend - Cabernet and Syrah supplementing and rounding out the Garnacha and Carinena. Hard hitting tannins from the start. Can’t detect the oak so it’s well-integrated. After 30 minutes it’s a real spice bomb on the nose. Super; met high expectations.

October 28, 2022 - This was fabulous. Dense and rich with plum notes. Modern and stately at the same time, polished but light enough on its feel, sweet tannins draw out a lengthy conclusion. Ready to pop and pour.
