May 24, 2021 - Tart red fruit and spice on the nose, very aromatic with a faint smokiness even though Ribbon Ridge's soils are not volcanic; dry, with elevated acidity and smooth, quiet tannins, medium-bodied, 13.3°. Blackberry joins the red fruit on the palate, and something savory along with the cinnamon and spice. Components are well-balanced and persistent.
No capsule and the bottle's a reasonable weight – thanks for that.
