May 24, 2023 - Montalcino trip, seventh vineyard visited. Dark purple/Brown, strong rich nose, complex meaty aroma. First Brunello taste - medium rich, taste dry dark fruits - cherries, currants, but quickly opens into into a strong earthy finish of leather, meats, beacon, long linger. Solid reserva and drinking well
