September 27, 2023 - Lay & Wheeler South Africa tasting. Brief Notes: More floral than the GPS on the nose. Opens with bright, juicy fruits then reveals an olive and meaty note that’s just lovely. Silky texture with very fine ripe tannins.

September 18, 2023 - Lay & Wheeler South Africa tasting (Glazier's Hall): Perfumed, heady, floral: violet and peony, blackberry and blackcurrant. A savoury edge but invitingly primary. Rich but not heavy, juicy and drinkable. A lovely counterpoint to the edgier, more austere (but equally compelling) GPS from the same year.
