June 6, 2022 - Decanted briefly but this needed an hour to begin to show properly. At first, lots of dill and vegetal notes. We finished it before it could completely open but the depth of the Cabernet began to come out after a half hour. This is typical of 2017 with underripe fruit and citrus notes and it's the first Cab I've had from Sanguis so hard to compare or say how it will develop. 92+
