December 21, 2010 - Cork was in great shape but this bottle was off. My not have been stored correctly by the retailer. Damp basement aromas. Minimal cherry fruit flavors with bitter/tannic middle and finish. Disappointing.

April 4, 2009 - A lovely example of what the Russian River has to offer. The nose if full of earth, ripe cherries, and just a touch of smokiness. Extremely mellow and understated on the palate with great balance between fruit and tanin and would have paired nicely with just about any kind of food. Continued to evolve as we consumed the bottle. Wish I had another.
