September 22, 2022 - Decanted. Now 45 min after decant. Nice aromas of ripe cherry and strawberries, and a hint of minerals and bark. Palate w leather, red cherries, dried tobacco, a bit of earth and bark and minerals.Medium body w nice acids. Moderate length on finish with lingering tobacco. Nice quality for a $16 wine. Easily quaffable but w enough complexity to keep me engaged. Nice qpr.

March 12, 2022 - PnP. Ruby. Dusty fruit on the nose. Berries on the palate, with prominent acidity. Slightly bitter in the finish, which dissipates with airing and food. Not very concentrated. No oak utilized, and no tannin. I do love Rioja, but sometimes you do get what you pay for. That is the case here. It does improve a bit with air. Still, a picnic wine.

June 6, 2021 - Gently floral aroma of boysenberries. Smooth, restrained flavors of cherry, melon. Simple cherry finish. Decent backbone, clean, balanced, linear. Serviceable and a good QPR, may develop into something more.
