February 8, 2024 - 90 min decant; Another amazing Andremily Syrah! Flavors of blackberry liqueur, freshly cracked peppercorn, and sweet vanilla with hints of oak. Silky smooth texture with intense fruit, and tannins that reared their heads in earnest on day 2. Still just a baby, this wine has years of development ahead...likely decades of it. No rush; drink now with some decanting through 2038+.

December 4, 2023 - My least favorite of the Syrahs (amongst the 2015, 2019 and 2020, which I rated 97-98) but it's all relative as this still gets a 95.
As usual for me, best on PnP with a slight chill from the cellar.
Typical Andremily, slight touch of sweetness with notes of blackberry liqueur and pepper.
Nice weight, silky smooth, complex and the intensity I appreciate in the Andremily wines.
Actually found this a bit more interesting than the SQN Distenta I I had recently. But I'm a major Andremily fanboy so consider the source.1 person found this helpful Comment -

November 4, 2023 - Lucky to have this one in my cellar. Really great with lots of fruit, tannins and balance. Concentrated and serious. Wonderful.
