December 26, 2023 - Inky wine. Blackcurrant and plum on the nose with all spice. Through onto the palate. Good weight and acidity. Long finish. Alcohol somewhat high, but overall a very good wine

December 3, 2023 - Enjoyed over two days, gave it two hours of air before tasting it. Thick, inky and bold, flavours of blueberry, some blackberry, some currant. Completed by some herbs and minerals. Acidity is adding the right amount of freshness, tannins are well balanced and give body and tension. All in all, everything is in the right place and I think a few more years can develop it even more. Maybe time will add a bit more elegance. In my opinion it’s very french, wouldn’t thought it’s from South America.

June 2, 2023 - In the bouquet dark berries and cherries. Same on the palate, chocolate “after eight”. Fresh acidity and tannin.

April 2, 2023 - This is drinking beautifully in its youth. Not the typical over-the-top fruit forward and oak dominant Malbec, this is subdued and mature.

On the nose the oak influence is noticeable but not overwhelming with rich notes of chocolate, cumin, dusty black cherry and blueberry. Further investigation finds a vein of stone minerality, violet florals and hints of forest floor.

On the palate this wine is medium bodied with piercing, vibrant acidity and a touch of alcoholic warmth.

Good length and a spicy finish.
