  January 29, 2012 - Fantastic wine, rich cab flavor tempered by the meritage. Decanted. We savored this over a couple of hours, and the subtleties revealed themselves as the night went on.

  September 10, 2006 - Wow, a great wine. Complemeted the pepper crusted filet mignon dinner we had very well. Full bodied and smokey. We decanted it and noted some sediment. Definitely one of the better bottles we have had recently,

  September 4, 2006 - Nose of leather, smoke and some dark fruits. Dark and red fruits on the palate with a hint of oak and pepper. Nicely balanced wine.

  May 14, 2005 - Lovely wine. Not decanted (not much in the way of sediment). Consumed over the course of a couple of hours with some lamb shanks. Really well balanced wine, with a lovely mouthfeel.It was smooth, yet with a little acidity and tannin to keep it balanced. Flavours were currant, plum and maybe a little chocolate. By a margin, the best Napa wine I've had.
