December 15, 2020 - Château Yon-Figeac, Les Roches de Yon-Figeac, 2017: Deep cherry red in color, with on the nose raspberries, red cherries, hints of oak as well as cigar box. Medium, perhaps medium to full-bodied, with on the palate raspberries, juicy red cherries, loamy dirt, pencil shavings, a hint of vanilla, rich cigar tobacco, medium-plus acidity, with medium-plus tannins that rise on a long and elegant finish. Very nice wine that should develop and hold well for about a decade past harvest. 14% Abv. Drink 2024-2030. 92
