May 5, 2024 - Sipping this 2008 Bollinger Champagne RD on a sunny Sunday afternoon is a joy. đ Iâm a Napa nut and donât know much about bubbles (other than I like them), but this one dazzles with lively effervescence and rich flavors. Crisp apples, dried apricots, subtle hints of baking spices, a whisper of fresh berries. Mmm-mmm! Its finish is long and satisfying.

March 1, 2024 - KrĂ€ftiges Goldgeb. Die Nase ist sehr Bollinger-typisch, deutet die Opulenz schon an, offenherzig, dezent rauchig, Hefeteig, nussige Noten, reife Frucht, steinig unterlegt. Im Gaumen mit cremiger Textur und viel Druck, was fĂŒr ein Schaumwein, barock, verschnörkelt, verspielt, top Perlage, sehr gute Struktur, grandiosoe LĂ€nge.

This time a bit "disappointing". The finish is a bit blurred. Some herbal notes and you feel the "heavieness" of the PN. I guessed right. The first bottle reminded me to a CdM. This is far away from that gem. 943 people found this helpful Comment -

January 17, 2024 - Flickinger Tasting at The Casino (Chicago, IL): Must admit I didn't really like (or maybe understand) this. There are sherried, oxidative notes here, but the wine is very fresh and acid-driven on the palate. Overall, this is neither here nor there and isn't the sort of Champagne I'm personally looking for.
