August 17, 2022 - Nice aroma, chewy tannins with a long tongue coating finish and cherry flavor. Will hold my other bottles for at least 3 years.

March 11, 2022 - 2016 BarVBar Zoom tasting. Drank in Conterno Sensory.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of roses + tar, salty wet stony minerality, pure red fruit. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, very structured gum-drying high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of pure ripe red cherries, red licorice, tobacco + tar, stony mineral vein, savoury soil earth undertone. Long grippy finish.
Very good quality. My type of Barolo. Classic and red fruits and unabashedly grippy tannic in youth. For ageing.

December 16, 2021 - Very young... brutally tannic and acidic, but nonetheless the quality and the potential shine through in the form of a beautiful nose or roses, berries and herbs, and a palate that after a short decant reveal all the cherry fruit and tarry earthiness you want from a Barolo.

Glad to have more, which will sleep for a while.
