April 26, 2024 - Color is copper. On the nose: Strawberry, minerals, stone fruits. On the palate: Sherry like , almonds, strawberry, minerals , peach apricot and apple, rose and dry tannins. This is excellent. I don’t drink Rose often and really wanted to try some Iberian Rose’s. This was recommended by my wine store go to guy. Really good.

April 17, 2024 - Served at about 55F. Minerally and dry with rose petal fruit, a tiny bit of orange rind and the light sherryish note typical of so many LdHs--more so than a stunning 2008 opened about two years ago. A good bottle, but not a great one.

February 26, 2024 - Good and interesting. Beautiful color. Mixes sherry-like flavors with citric and tart stone-fruit flavors. Really good with ham! $115 at DCDC

January 18, 2024 - Another nice rendition of this wine. Restaurant purchase, was difficult to stand up to spicier foods. I also feel like a bit of bottle age may add to the complexity of the 2012, which comes off a bit simpler than previous vintages. Interesting and sherry like, with orange rind and angostura bitters.
