January 15, 2023 - Super clean as if was right out of the barrel. Good nose and flavor it just hasn’t developed. Hold for 5+ years.

November 8, 2022 - 2002 Burgundy, round 2 (Noize): A rich, punchy wine, with pineapple and cream; the nose was heady and sensual. Remarkably candied on the palate, almost red-fruited, and this reminded me of the Glenmorangie Milsean (i.e. a whisky finished in red wine casks, with a curiously, deliciously sweet finish). Softly textured too, but for me in balance and a delight to drink, although I think some at the table found it a little 'too much'.

August 16, 2022 - 9th of 12, opened 20 minutes, perfect level, cork third soaked, as bottles since 2018, attractive, nuanced, even some upside but needs more weight and energy for better than F+ (18)......BdM to be preferred in this vintage but should improve over next couple of years and hold for 5 years or so thereafter.

November 5, 2021 - 8th of 12, opened 30 minutes, perfect cork and level, as June bottle, upside still. F+ (18).

June 11, 2021 - 7th of 12, opened 30 minutes, perfect cork and level, little changed from last bottle in 8/18, pure, quite steely, plenty of bant, decent complexity, length and persistence, still remarkably youthful, upside yet. F+ (18).
