  January 21, 2015 - Still hanging in there, my last of the 2004. Round and soft with aromas of black fruits. Fully integrated flavors of pomegranate and black tea. Firm lingering finish. Consumed over three days and it never fell apart or flat. This wine is near it's peak and I have no more.

  January 7, 2014 - Lovely wine. The last of my three bottles. Agree with the other positive notes. Quite nice, but I'd drink up if I had bottles remaining.

  September 19, 2012 - Dark cherry on nose with herbal notes. Cherry through midpalate but slightly tart with minimal finish. This wine is disappointing compared to the 2006 Altamura Sangiovese. Drink this wine now if you have it because it is clearly past its prime.
