April 26, 2023 - 4.5 hour slow ox. Super expressive nose. Red and purple fruit, a little bit of good funk, nicely balanced, easy drinking, good spice in the fruit on the finish. Continues to get more vibrant over 2 hours. Very nice.

January 11, 2023 - Very expressive nose which jumps out of the glass. Notes of candied strawberry, raspberry, cherry cola and white pepper. On the palate, crunchy red fruits, some orange peel, a little barnyard funkiness. Significant structure but very enjoyable now. Better in a few years.

August 20, 2022 - Very fruity, raspberry and blackcurrant, nicely balanced. Very charming summer wine.

July 10, 2022 - 67PM dinner: Very clean and pure red raspberry fruits similar to the basic Marsannay I tried last month, but with the fruit intensity and structure dialled up a notch. Tried a few 2019s with Syrah-like colours but this was pleasantly lighter in terms of colour and density. His crunchy red fruit style is definitely in my wheelhouse.

June 2, 2022 - Académie des Cinquante Burgundy visit; 6/1/2022-6/3/2022: Made with 80% whole cluster. Firm and structured, this is a wine of sizeable dimensions, balancing ripe fruit with minerally energy. Needs time.
