  May 2, 2024 - Could still use a couple of years to tame the tannins. Smooth red fruit with finish of tobacco, smoke & leather. The finish is still a little fiery, like sipping a 10 year old Scotch. I wish I had waited. Maybe tomorrow it will be perfect.
  
  Update: "tomorrow" it was much better. It needed more air to tame the tannins. I raised my rating from 87 to 89. Should be even better in a year.

  May 1, 2024 - I liked this, but not really right away.
  On Pop-n-pour, I thought that toasted oak flavors predominated - but not so surprised considering the short age.
  However, most of the bottle was saved in my wine fridge for the next night and I really enjoyed it, even though the tannin is still fairly strong and somewhat drying. Nice balance of fruit and barrel imparted flavors, with comfortable acidity and a mild bitter overtone on the medium length finish.

  Smått utvecklad doft med svarta vinbär, blåbär, fat, rostat kaffe, ceder och mörk choklad. Medel-fyllig, sammansatt smak med torra tanniner, fin syra och mycket bra längd. Bordeaux åt det robustare hållet. 13 %.
