October 11, 2022 - We pnp'd at lunch. Dark cherry on the nose, the palate was cherry, red berries with a hint of spice leading to a moderate finish

September 4, 2022 - Obviously young but drinkable now although there will be much more to come. It did improve on day 2. Fragrant with mainly red fruits. Good clean fruit with some sweetness but a good mineral backbone. Tasting it against most of the PCG 2019 Pinot range at the vineyard, I personally like the combination of PCG with the Pommard clone and and the Weber Vineyard with its Dundee Hills soil in a more classic year like 2019, but again that is just my personal preference.

June 18, 2022 - Winery visit. Aromas of promegranate flesh, fresh herbs, root spices, violets, tea, anise and mushroom. Fresh fruit on the palate, with very savory & floral accents. Elegant structure, well-framed in its acidity, with fleshy dense tannins and nice depth.

May 14, 2022 - Rough on opening, gave it five hours of air. Purple berries hidden under smoke, cured meat, and feral musk. Medium acidity combined with very silky tannins provides weightless structure across the palate. Leads with a mouthful of minerals, berries hit mid stride, ends long and savory. Brett notes are initially very heavy, and it took a while to get into this. Not a crowd pleaser, but layered and interesting.

Edit: popped half the bottle in the fridge. Two days later, smoothed out and drinking nicely. Would give this one a couple years minimum before opening.
