Community Tasting Notes 8

January 13, 2024 - Aromatic with Oregon earthy funk, thin mid palate, tart acidic finish. I think this wine will balance out in a number of years but it drinks like simple Oregon Pinot now.

October 8, 2023 - Wonderfully aromatic, with the wild berry flavors so associated with Oregon. Wonderful mix of reds and blues. Fine palate, still a bit firm but nuanced and deep. Nice length. Needs a few years.
With air seems to shift to bright red fruits showing crunchy acidity. Really strong.

August 18, 2023 - A lighter burgandy that is fully transparent in the glass. Red berries and earth on the nose - quite a pleasant aroma. Upon taste I instantly noted black pepper that quickly was replaced by raspberries followed by currants and a minerality. Finish is medium to long.
A very easy and delicate sipping wine. Drinking very well now and I doubt it would drink much better in 3-5 years.

March 23, 2023 - Wonderfully aromatic for a young wine. Strawberry and spice, with a hint of earthy underbrush. Fine tannins and bright acidity. Has a lot of structure to resolve but is still quite accessible and enjoyable now.

January 15, 2023 - Excellent stuff, tons of black pepper on the nose, leading one to wonder what caused it, otherwise some strawberry jam and a really bright all around presentation. I’ve never been disappointed with this producer.
