Tasted non blind.
Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of blueberries, red currants and a hint of cocoa. Flavors of red raspberries, cherries and strawberries. Medium to bright acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink over the short term. -

March 21, 2021 - 2019 Moccagatta Barbara D'Alba is very nice, inexpensive, bottle of wine. The bottle was decanted one hour prior to dinner. Dinner this evening consisted of Rib Eye Steaks, Creamer potato's, and a Vegetable medley. The wine is medium bodied, and has a purplish color. It drinks nicely for a young Barbera, and I can definitely recommend this wine.
