February 24, 2024 - Delicious nose - pure earthy blackberry. Way more savory on the palate - almost northern Rhone-like. Olives, iron, blood and bramble take center stage. Tannins are powdery; just medium-bodied. Good, but really savory.

January 27, 2024 - surprisingly a very pale and translucent color, but it opens up with this beautiful bouquet of floral / rose petal notes that went superbly with roasted lamb. the first of three bottles, I'm excited for the next one, this did not disappoint and agree that these carry exceptional qpr.

January 18, 2023 - Opened last night. Strong dark yet translucent ruby. Black cherry evident in the nose. Smoke and spice, too., along with forest floor. Ripe but not sweet fruit in the mouth, to go with earthy flavors. Seems a tad green. Strong backbone. Steer clear of this for awhile, it still needs a lot of time. Least impressive of my bottles so far. 5-12-15-8: 90/100.
