  April 27, 2024 - Initially on Day 1 it showed reduction and was not very expressive, almost harsh with poor mid and back palate. Day 2 under argon it filled out and is much better; typical Meursault notes. Round, not really focused yet but on the way.
  
  If drinking now probably an hour or two decant would do wonders. Overall a well made wine opened too early. Think this has years to go and will be quite good down the road.

  May 25, 2023 - Excellent Meursault. Needs a little bit to open up still a bit young. Oak, vanilla, orchard fruit. Overall well balanced lacks a bit of acidity but think it’s a quality white burgundy.

  February 28, 2023 - Ich schließe mich den sehr positiven und teils überschwänglichen Bewertungen nicht an. Ja, dieser Meursault ist komplex und vielschichtig, hält auch lange an. Aber der Abgang ist viel zu brandig und alkoholisch. Die 14,5% vol. gehen einfach nicht spurlos vorüber, wie auch. Für mich enttäuschend!
  Dreimal verkostet, zu unterschiedlichen Temperaturen, mit und ohne Luft.

  February 24, 2023 - 100% Chardonnay
  from 8.64 ha of east facing limestone marl plateau on
  hard base (~half of lieu-dit Les Clous) at 250+ m.
  Manual harvest in small 13 kg boxes. Manual sorting by grape.
  Dual-phase pressing: first run juice followed by 2-hr cycle.
  Full malolactic.
  Aged 12-14 months in French oak barrels (up to 20% new) plus
  2-3 months in stainless steel vats all under optimal environment
  of the cellars of the ancient Château de Beaune.
  14.5% Abv.
  
  Background: Founded in 1731 in Beaune by Michel Bouchard and
  continued for 3 centuries and 9 generations. Acquired by
  Joseph Henriot (Maisons & Domaines Henriot) in 1995 which
  in turn became part of the group Artemis Domaines in 2022
  under François Pinault (Château Latour, Christie's, etc.)
  Cellar Master: Frédéric Weber (since 2013)
  
  A(ccuray)=2: Bright pale gold/lemon. Floral toasty varietal.
  B(alance)=3: Ripe fruit with refined structure.
  C(omplexity)=2: White tree fruits, citrus, beeswax, oak vanilla.
  D(epth)=1: Tangy mouthfeel. Good length and finish.
