April 19, 2013 - Flasken mangler etikett på framsiden. En flaske drukket på hytta til reinsdyr. Drukket samtidig med en flaske av 2009 årgangen. Rød med toner av orange/brun farge. Mer kompleks smak enn 2009 årgange. Ingen merkbare tanniner. Litt røyk i lukt og smak. Mer ettersmak enn 2009 årgangen. Litt grå skogbunn i smak. Hvis jeg må rangere er 2004 årgangen såvidt litt bedr enn 2009 årgange. Ingen store endringer etter en dag i kjøleskap i åpen flaske.

    January 30, 2013 - Blind tasted

    Ap: dark purple
Ar: ripe dark purple, bitter cherries, almond
    Full bodied, high tannin level,
    Very good length

October 27, 2012 - Very nice. Dark cherries, herbs, black tea, just a hint of earthiness. It will hold, but very enjoyable now.

January 15, 2012 - Consistent with previous bottle. Had this 375 with the same dinner as last time. The one downside was that was some heat on the back end. Even so it was still very enjoyable. That happened with the last bottle too though I failed to note it.

January 7, 2012 - Drank from 375ml with pasta, sausage & chicken in a creamy tomato sauce with parmesan reggiano.
Good fruit, nice flavors of kirsch and black cherry, it has developed nicely. Not sure this will get any better than it is now. 2004 was a very good year in Tuscany and the vintage is reflected in this wine. Got it on closeout special and it's an escpecially good Quality/Price ratio.
