April 18, 2024 - A beautiful wine with promise of only getting better over time. Took about 45 minutes to open up but the nose was full of dark fruit and very little leather and herbs. The flavors followed with dark plum and blackberry fruit and has a beautiful layered tannin base with some great acid connections giving it a fantastic long finish of that dark fruit. A lovely tasteful wine! Napas finest!!

March 1, 2024 - Suckling Wines of the World: it was hard to fully appreciate this amongst so many wines to try and while there was rich fruit, I felt this was good rather than great and there were other Cabernet based wines that I preferred.

February 4, 2024 - Aanvankelijke zeer mooie neus echter geen fruit. Wel zwoele toetsen van Chocolade, tabak en droge pruimen. De mond is een en al zwoelheid. Onvergelijkbaar. Zowel kracht als finesse. Lange nadronk. Kasteel van een wijn. Top 3

November 10, 2023 - Plum Market wine tasting. This was the wine of the night in my opinion. Dark ruby fruit - currants, blackberry, dark cherry, and dark raspberry. Really smooth mid-palate with a beautiful purity. I wasn’t wowed by the depth/concentration (medium/medium plus body) but the purity and flavors were quite impressive. More of an elegant profile. Nice vibrant flavors of cassis, cocoa, some spice, a graphite component, and a little floral profile. Decent finish but not overly long nor deep. According to the server, this bottle was double decanted for around five hours. No surprise of the 99 rating from Dunnuck and 96 from WA. 96 for me at this youthful stage but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it pick-up a couple more points with some time as it opens-up and develops further. 93% cab sauvignon, 5% petit verdot, and 3% malbec.
