MJ18 Does not like this wine:
April 26, 2024 - Somewhat decent chard, though it needed a solid decant. Smelled like sharpie marker/chlorine upon opening and the wood was present the entire time. Wood was unfortunately overpowering the fruit. Improved significantly with time in the glass/decanter.
Many of the 2018 notes suggesting a chemical type nose are spot on. Would give this more time or air if opening now.
Probably wouldn’t buy again. -

March 15, 2024 - opened an hour before the first pour. this was oddly light compared to PM's 1ers. a muted opening but ends with a flash of acidity and fruit. ultimately, felt a little hollow for me and disappointing when compared to the depth of his 1ers

January 14, 2023 - Rich and chewy with impressive weight for a Bourgogne. Nice creaminess to the orchard fruit. Good now.
