September 23, 2023 - Decant! Enjoy! We skipped the first step so had to wait a while for the wine to open up. A fresh, bright field blend with beautiful woodsy and v berry flavors. We just love Carlisle. Wonderful QPR.

April 9, 2023 - This is still a wonderful wine for the money! Let's call it a bargain. Rich and full of red and dark red fruit flavors and a pleasant zing. Commendable purity, mouthfeel, and aftertaste. A real joy with more life ahead of it.

April 2, 2023 - Medium bodied. Soft tannins. Pepper, spice, red fruits and boysenberry. Perhaps I have come to expect a "wow" every time I open a bottle of Carlisle, so that this just did not rise to the level of being an over achiever. Still, delightful and great value. Any other vintner and I would have rated this higher - the drawback when one sets the "Gold -Standard."
