Community Tasting Notes 2

December 4, 2010 - Some good dark fruits, but this one was dominated by brett, making it taste like a sweaty, used saddle, albeit one rubbed with delicious berries.

May 19, 2010 - Deep crimson/ruby in the glass, only slightly fading to translucent ruby at the edges. Nose is dominated by leather and dried meat, but after some air time notes of black currant, prune, and blackberry come through along with intense aromas of smoked paprika and cracked pepper. The palate is funky with leather, cedar, sour cherry, and spicy tannins. The finish is long and a touch green. This is a fabulous value.
