April 27, 2021 - Deeply colored with orange to clear rim; dark red fruit, beetroot, some tomato leaf, clove, roses; richer fruit on palate, just secondary now, nothing tertiary. A tough wine, extracted with some tannins still, fruit turns a tad austere, moderate length. Not as balanced and (frankly) evolved as I had hoped.
