  March 3, 2024 - Syrah? Hmm—not getting black pepper, nor olive, just something indistinctly herbal on the nose. Oh well, the soft blackberry-fruited entry is nice enough; sweet mid-palate shows oak but otherwise pretty inexpressive. $50 at cellar door. 88P(?)

  February 22, 2023 - Premiere Napa Valley; 2/22/2023-3/25/2023 (Napa, California): Tasting at Dutton Goldfield
  
  A great Syrah to finish the tasting, very gamey on the nose with notes of black olives, bacon and dark cherries. The palate was medium+ bodied and powerful with dark red fruit, black pepper and spice filling out the palate, lush alluring yet a savoury mid-palate finishing a little spicy.

  February 22, 2021 - Very dark cranberry. Gorgeous aroma. Black cherry, raspberry, lilacs, lavender. Quite ripe and rich in the mouth, spice, sandalwood. Very smooth and elegant in the mouth. Quite nice. 5-13-16-8: 92/100.
