  April 23, 2011 - Opened to a nice ruby coloring. The nose never fully developed throughout the evening but the flavors of black fruit, particularly blackberry, blueberry and plum, along with some spice. The wine had a nice structure without any tannins, medium bodied and very smooth. Probably around its peak. Handled the first ribs off the grill for the season nicely.

  November 8, 2010 - This is a fine bottle of wine for the money. Great on the palate with a nice tart finish. Not much of a nose, but otherwise this is one to buy by the case.
