December 23, 2023 - "Best before" date long ago but worked with cheese and in a burgundian stew.

February 14, 2020 - Seductive, perfumed nose; quite intense and yet fresh, with floral accents and the typical leather and stable notes of classic Bordeaux. Surprisingly powerful and generous on the palate, not even a bit tired, but lively and in perfect shape, with sexy sweet red fruit, good acidity and tannin structure and an exceptionally long, sweet finish. An excellent Louviere in perfect drinking maturity. Far above expectations. Drink now.

July 7, 2018 - From Jeroboam (60E in Chablis on 6/18, FWIW): What fun to open the bottle and see the wine is exactly what it should be: classic old Bdx flavors, fruit still alive... what more do you want? The group chugged it right down...

December 26, 2016 - Deep purple color with a bit of bricking around the rim. Sweet purple fruits on the nose with some bell pepper. The fruit is still fresh, though as another taster noted, a musty wood/cardboard note is present which significantly detracts from the enjoyment. The tannins are integrated and the acidity keeps things lively. This would be lovely but for that musty wood. Probably lightly corked.
