April 24, 2024 - Patience has paid off with this delicious and extremely rich, buttery Macon. It is far better now than in earlier tastings, and I'm sure the rest of this case will not last long in my cellar.

June 6, 2020 - Slightly reductive upon opening but cleared up soon enough to reveal apple, melon and some acid not fully integrated with the oak. When evaluating wine, money comes into the equation. Is it a Leflaive? No! But for $AUD55, it is great value for those wanting to learn more about Burgundy. And a great wine to go with a prawn curry.

September 8, 2019 - "Everyone knows German Reisling wines do not age." (Chicago, IL): A little hint of green apple and some stone fruit. Not complex, but shows some of the lovely 2014 bright acids.
