  January 6, 2024 - Not sure when or how I acquired this one but I decided to open this tonight. Not a big wine and not too complex. But enjoyable notes of violet on the front and then grass on the back. Pleasantly surprised by this. If I see another 2018 somewhere I’ll pick up up.

  September 3, 2023 - enjoyed with friends to celebrate. one of the better merlot's i've had and this has a solid qpr as people have said.
  
  nose of violet and spice.
  baking spices, cassis, dark fruit.
  medium acid nice tannins
  would drink again

  August 17, 2023 - Value Columbia Valley, Wash., 2018 Chateau Ste. Michelle Merlot ($11 on sale grocery store). Mid-garnet, rim variation, viscous (13.5 alc.); black fruit, cocoa, berry nose; some depth; semi-long berry finish. w/burgers, picnic fare. 15 UC Davis scale, 88 other scales.

  May 10, 2023 - Medium ruby.
  Redcurrant, raspberry nose.
  Savoury red fruit palate.
  Very enjoyable wine, should drink well for 3/4 years.
