August 29, 2015 - Still amazingly fruity, not at all over the hill. Wonderful nose with a very long finish. Definitely the WOTH among some very stiff competition.

November 28, 2013 - I was concerned that this might be over the hill, but it is much better than it was five years ago. Settled a bit, still has lots of fruit, but very mellow with age.

July 4, 2009 - Magnum signed by Bill and Rob. Delicious rich fruit and chocolate/cocoa flavors. Had with smoked pork spareribs, corn bread, slaw and baked beans; held up very well against the spicy BBQ sauce. All 7 of us really enjoyed the fruit and depth; not an overall complex wine, but still drinking extremely well, maybe at the perfect point.

November 4, 2008 - Better on day #2. Decant at least an hour before drinking.

July 23, 2008 - Past its prime. Color cloudy, brickish, nose = flat, very sweet, plummy, short finish
