April 27, 2024 - My last bottle and it did not disappoint. First, these roses can go the distance. This bottle still had plenty of fruit and balanced acidity. Second, these roses are consistent. Nothing here that I haven't tasted before. Third, while there may not be "bottle sweetness" the wine does seem to develop a little heft; good weight. Last, these little roses are simply quaffable beauties. New World rose? Yes, but with a respectful nod to Tavel. Recommended.

August 4, 2023 - This is our second rosé of the evening since there are more than the 2 of us. Such a different rosé from the Baudry Chinon Rosé and that’s fine. This is all about watermelon, strawberries, balsamic and spice. Gorgeous in the glass (just as the Baudry Chinon Rosé was) but more orange than the Baudry and more generous on the nose and palate. Again with more ginormous crystals of tartrates. 13.2% alc. With spiced shrimp, various cheeses and crusty bread. 08.04.23. Recommended.

June 17, 2023 - Joey’s rosé is becoming the go to rosé this summer. Gorgeous in the glass and generous on the nose and palate, this wine grabs your attention with watermelon, strawberries, balsamic and spice. More ginormous crystals of tartrates. 13.2% alc. With alternations between salmon rillette in cream cheese and saint andre cheese. 06.17.23. Recommended.

May 27, 2023 - Exactly as previously noted earlier this month as, “A pastel pink, but not a “fruity pink” and certainly not a “fruity” rosé. The nose is less strawberry now and powerful, melon with elements of watermelon and black pepper. The spiciness is incredible; definitely the spiciest rosé I’ve ever had. A distinct mineral element clips in on the mid-palate. .... [each bottle contained] ginormous crystals of tartrates.” 13.2% alc. 05.27.23. Recommended.

May 5, 2023 - A pastel pink, but don't be fooled; not a “fruity” rosé. The nose is less strawberry now and powerful, melon with elements of watermelon and black pepper. The spiciness is incredible; definitely the spiciest rosé I’ve ever had. A distinct mineral element clips in on the mid-palate. Sediment? Yes; ginormous crystals of tartrates. 13.2% alc. Without food over two days; the first by the terrace fire; damn, what a beautiful day. 05.05.23. Recommended.
