May 15, 2024 - Inspired by the wines of Saint Joseph, but not tasting anything like ‘em. Smells ripe AS FUCK. Tons of sweet fruit in the form of blackberry, plum, blueberry and strawberry. Dense fruit concentration with the 12.5% alcohol coming off as 14% for me. Somewhat unbalanced between the fruit and acidity. Medium finish. Everything on paper points to this being a cool-climate style, but everything in the glass says otherwise. Not even sure I was tasting the same wine at some point.

May 13, 2024 - Bit confused as to why everyone thought this was 15% ABV but definitely a cooler-climate vibe going on here.
There's a certain lightness to it that brings to mind the Northern Rhone, in particular - and I keep saying this - Matthieu Barrett. It's intensely floral on the nose with some savoury, olive elements as well.
On the palate it's got a nice round acidity that works beautifully with the new world fruit here. Overall, not unlike other cool-climate styled syrahs from California, like Arnot Roberts, just maybe without the pretty, minimalist labels. -

May 4, 2024 - Lovely and vibrant
Front label says 12.5% - import label on back says 13.5
Night red crunchy fruit with some grip and a lean old world style
Something of a lunch / picnic wine about it but rather good
Lovely nose - will develop and soften - slight sour cherry element -

April 3, 2024 - Nose of blueberry and black pepper with olive brine behind it. Bright and zippy but also still had some chewy tannins supporting. Great bottle with a real Lost Boys vibe. BANGARANG!

March 21, 2024 - Very nice - low ABV (12’s) yet still nice intense dark fruit flavors, and a long finish.
