First impression was that the fruit had receded but left a ton of oak - I pretty much tasted only woody flavors. Leaving it overnight helped out a bit, but still the palate left me with mostly oak. This appeals to many, but I am not a fan, though the wine had pretty good balance and nice mouthfeel. Not a repurchase for me.
