Community Tasting Notes 2

January 10, 2014 - Still very dark in color, with a muted dark fruit nose. On the palate, it's very smooth on the entry with dark fruits and earthy secondary characteristics. Nice smooth finish. Peaking right now, maybe slightly past it. Nice, but time to drink up!

July 21, 2007 - Tasted as part of a 5 year vertical (2001-2005). The nose had mostly plum and currant aromas. The palate was beginning to turn port like. Very smooth, and some in the group thought it was over the hill. It may be past it's prime, but it was still a delicious and mellow wine.
