December 6, 2013 - Grapemates Christmas Party (Atelier, Sydney): Magnum. Spice, mulberry, cedar and cherry. A fresh red fruit character is still present on the palate, and it is probably still developing. Good texture and finely balanced. Give it more time out of magnum.

July 21, 2012 - I remember selling this wine on release and 20 years later it is really very good. Only released in magnum the wine is humming under such format. It has some leather and earth development along with bright raspberry and cassis fruit. It is rich and warming with nice savoury traits countering the riper elements. There are notes of sweet cedar and liquorice and whilst acidity is relatively soft it still carries some chewy tannins.
