  February 7, 2017 - Last bottle was nicely aged with just a tiny touch of over-oxidation. Frit was heavy and leaned a bit to the prune side; the finish was full and silky smooth tannin. It was time for it to be drunk!

  November 25, 2015 - Now this was a nice aged Aussie! Still had nice fruit and the aged character added good elegance to the blend. still has some bright acidity but this one is not likely going to get any better; I expect it to go down hill befor too long. Great buy at an auction!!!!!!

  March 15, 2015 - Perfect cork - the colour still dark but with a slightly orange rim. On the nose there is plenty of spices, muscat, pepper, olives and quite a ripe raspberry fruit, chocolate comes through as well - wonderful. On the palate rather warm with a slightly overripe tendency that vanishes over time - again red fruit, olives, eucalyptus and pepper, very long, completely molten tannins. A joy to drink at the moment, short aeration and serving at 16°C recommended.
