March 14, 2024 - Nose was super cocoa and fragrances of dates. Initial flavors were super fruit forward, raisin flavors and finishes dry quickly. Complex and coats the tongue thoroughly with a viscous layer, opening smoothly on the palate.

January 3, 2024 - Good overall zin for the price. Nice varietal nose with some light fruity notes; nice dark color; good body and structure. Pairs well with food; over powers lighter food. Earthy notes on the palate along with red fruit and some oak. Reasonably well integrated

December 20, 2023 - Decent zin whose intensity varies based on the food its paired with. Definitely works with burgers, etc. Withlighter fare, the oak becomes more pronounced, not in a good way.
Still not as overoaked as most CA zins and good for what it is. -

November 10, 2023 - Friday night sushi. Pop and pour
Dark violet color. Bouqet strawberry spice. Dry mild tanins. Full passion fruit craisin. Back end spice, pepper, tart plum skin.
Went well with sushi. Not a white guy so this worked real well. -

6/3/2021 (link) 92 points(Dry Creek Vineyard Zinfandel Heritage Vines) Saturated, very dark purple red violet color; aromatic, wild berry, black cherry, mulberry nose; tasty, juicy, black cherry, mulberry, wild berry palate with good balancing acidity; medium-plus finish (always a good value under $20 for a characterful, old vine Zin; 81% Zinfandel, 19% Petite Sirah; 14.5% alcohol; natural cork)
