  July 6, 2023 - Coravin'd a glass each of two prior nights and pulled the cork on night three. slight hint of green stem on the nose, not as pleasing across the palate as it was earlier this week.
  
  Well, I'm not catching much fruit – or frankly, many characteristics of the varietal – the wine's neither neither overly oaked nor fruit dominant. There's leather, tobacco, and ink layered across modest, mature tannins that have a more pleasant mouth feel and flavor.
  
  Not bad abd enjoyable as a glass, but I'd never guess this as a cab Franc.

  August 30, 2022 - Coravin'd a glass last week, pulled the cork a few nights later.Dark cherry and eucalyptus on the nose. Dry dusty tannins coat the palate, softening and making the wine more enjoyable with 90+ minutes of air.
  
  No rush on this, there's plenty of time to let this age and enjoy.

  August 26, 2022 - Coravin'd a large glass after a disappointing experience w another wine earlier. After 45 mins there's smoke and medium -dark fruit on the nose. Palate has less structure or depth than I'd like, but the dry muted friit shows potential. Will see if the balance of this bottle improves with another day or two.
