Community Tasting Notes 4

July 1, 1988 - Light carmine. Creamy friendly and fruity bouquet. Soft, supple and friendly, little tannin, good acidity, red fruits and creamy in the aftertaste. Good quality wine with some nuances, very tasteful, but fairly light and not with great ambitions. Just very pleasant.

April 29, 1988 - See also my note of july 88. There might be a slight bottle difference here. The wine was more vital and had more complexity to offer than I wrote in that note. Very pleasant wine.

June 19, 1987 - educational evening with some close friends.: Expressive and complex bouquet with soft liquorice, still some cassis and alcohol. The tannin is soft and the wine harmonious and round. Soft tannin, fair amount of acidity and pleasant bitterness in the finish. Drink now!

November 23, 1985 - Carmine with a brown edge. Pleasant fruity bouquet with fruit and some oak. The bouquet gives a younger impression than the wine is. Medium bodied wine with soft tannin and a good amount of acidity. Long lingering merlot aftertaste. Beautiful wine with just enough power and at a perfect development stage.
