May 15, 2023 - I have tasted a number of quality Malbecs recently ranging from high-end commercial bottlings (Beefsteak club) to exclusive terroir-driven examples (Adrianna vineyard), and I have to say this particular wine is more Rolland than Malbec. Chocolate, cocoa, smoke, sweet dessert driven wine which can pass as easily for a premium Bordeaux blend from Tuscany (think Biserno) as it does for a single vineyard Malbec from Valle de Uco.
Good wine but not exceptional to be honest. -
